ABOUT ME

Chelsea Kintz

I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and I also have a passion for scientific illustration. During my undergraduate, I completed a senior project on the prey handling behavior in herons. I have completed other projects on the internal anatomy of the Swamp Eel Monopterus albus and the diet of the California Moray Eel, both of which I have used my art to help present my findings. I have also made art for the Hawk Calls podcast, the Sea Slugs Club, and UCSC Earth Week. I have had my art displayed at a variety of shows and have taken part in a couple of art markets too, which you can find under Shows. I am most experienced with ink and watercolor but I love to explore other mediums depending on what best suits the project. In Work you can find my art sorted by medium.
